locate class parking using fuzzy algorithm in arc gis and ahp model as a case study on the metropolitan region 9 in mashhad

the public class parking as an essential component of a modern transport system within the city, provided spaces for the removal of stationary traffic in urban communication system, spaces to temporarily stop vehicles and thus the flow of traffic. locate the appropriate class parking using technological methods, particularly in metropolitan, maximum and optimum use of urban space, so improved parking performance, reduced margins and thus reduces the size of the park and city traffic, has many economic, social, environmental benefits. therefore, the purpose of this article is locate class parking using fuzzy algorithm in arc gis and ahp model as a case study on the metropolitan region 9 in mashhad. in terms of methodology, this study objective' is application – developmental, and from the perspective of research, is analytical – descriptive survey. data collecting tools are the validity and reliability of the questionnaires verified, interviewed and observed. also in this study used techniques for weighting and combining information, including assigning weighted points, fuzzy and ahp and fuzzy overlap and the index as modulation technique. also in this study have been used weighting and combining information techniques such as weighted allocation points, fuzzy logic, analytic hierarchy (ahp), and index overlay method. the findings to locate the optimal class perking in selected priority areas was shown as priority areas with a rating above 1000, area with score 1000 - 900 in the second priority, 900-800 score in the third priority, and less than 800 in fourth priority. the results of this study showed that 13 zones of the studied area, especially in the west and the south east region have better conditions to parking construction. secondary data: the nature and methodology of this study is based on identifying optimum zoning and parking options in district 9 only.
